50 Cent has been seen recently wearing a few IM King shirts in different videos, and it’s definitely great promo for the brand. This song is by Reggaeton group Wisin Y Yandle ft. 50 Cent, and he’s wearing the IM King “Glory” Tee in the music video. They have a few tee’s from last season on sale on Karmaloop, and hopefully we will be seeing their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection drop soon so you can use our Karmaloop Promo Codes & Karmaloop Rep Code found on our homepage, to save on this hot brand’s clothing!
Eminem’s new single “We Made You” produced by Dr. Dre finally came out, and you can see 50 Cent rocking a shirt from T.I.T.S. in the music video. The song is getting mixed reactions, but I feel it’s what you should have expected from a first single for Eminem. So if you were let down by it, then you gave yourself the wrong expectations before even hearing it. The song is great for it’s purpose, it’s catchy and funny, and will have people talking about it like any other Em single. It’s not a song you’re supposed to take serious, and it’s not what we should be expecting from the rest of the album (hopefully). His upcoming album Relapse, is set to hit stores May 19. You can pre-order it through Amazon for only $9.99 through the link.

If you haven’t heard of Drake yet, you’ll hear about him sooner or later. He’s a relatively new artist, that can rap, and sing. I think he does them both pretty well, and will only get better the more he keeps making music. Drake is signed to Lil Wayne’s label “Young Money Entertainment”. He’s also an actor, he played the character Jimmy, in the show Degrassi. I recommend getting his official mixtapes “Room For Improvement”, “Comeback Season”, and his latest “So Far Gone” which was very well put together especially for a mixtape. You can stay up to date on Drake, and download his mixtape “So Far Gone” for free on his blog @ http://octobersveryown.blogspot.com

Asher Roth wore the “College” Tee by Undrcrwn in his music video for his single “I Love College” off his debut album Asleep In The Bread Aisle, which is coming out April 21st, 2009. The shirt just hit Karmaloop, and it’s only $20. I can’t lie I’m not really a fan of Asher, but I do like this song, and the shirt is pretty cool. I might buy it, cause I like simple black/white shirts, and it’s a good price. If you buy it, make sure and use one of the Karmaloop codes on our homepage to save a few bucks on your purchase!
You can also enter the Asher Roth Karmaloop Contest to win a free shirt, or an autographed copy of his album when it’s released.
KarmaloopTV interviews my favorite artist Joe Budden. He speaks on breaking into the industry, the state of hip hop, and his new album Padded Room. The album just came out February 24th, and the fans are loving it. If you haven’t heard it yet, read what we thought about the album, and how to purchase it here.
T-pain can be seen in the Lonely Island ft. T-Pain – I’m On A Boat music video @ around 2:48, wearing the Parental Advisory Tee from the brand T.I.T.S. (Two In The Shirt). The shirt is no longer available on Karmaloop, but it’s definitely a good look for this independent brand that continues to grow. Although you can’t find the shirt T-Pain is wearing, you can definitely find some other great shirts from Two In The Shirt, and if you decide to pick one up, be sure to use the Karmaloop Rep Code found on our homepage to save on every purchase!
If you haven’t heard of Lonely Island, they are the guys who did the song Jizz In My Pants, and a few others that you’ve probably seen online before. They are part of the cast, and writing staff for SNL. I’m not sure how their comedy rap group originated, but I would guess that it had something to do with their SNL rap skits being popular. They’re album was released recently, and it’s called Incredibad. I loved the Jizz In My Pants song, and Dick In A Box ft. Justin Timberlake is a classic, but overall I wasn’t impressed with the album. It had a couple decent/funny songs, but it didn’t really keep my interest.
I just got my copy of Joe Budden’s 2nd official album, Padded Room, that the fans have been waiting 6 years for, and I am definitely happy with the final product. The album leaked last week, and I felt no guilt about downloading it, since I had pre-ordered it many months ago. After hearing the album a few times now, I can honestly say that it gets better every time I hear it. If you listen to the album briefly, or skim through it real quick, chances are you won’t get to fully appreciate it, and you will be missing out on some great hip hop music. Padded Room is a concept album, and some songs are linked to eachother, and there is a lot of hidden meanings behind the lyrics, so not everything you hear is what you might think it is. Budden is one of the most underrated artists of all time, and people are quick to talk about his lack of record sales, but if you take record sales out of the picture, he is one of the best rappers out. The album is definitely worth spending a few bucks on, and showing support for some real hip hop music. – Agentspits.com
