Grind Time Now brings back it’s latest installment of it’s well known west coast event in Los Angeles, California, better known as BATTLE OF LA, for the 4th time. The event, which we are one of the sponsors for, is hosting some classic grudge matches that have been in the making for quite some time, along with giving lesser known talented emcee’s their chance to battle on the main stage. This event will be sure to deliver a great time, along with some entertaining battles. So if you’re in the LA area, or can make the trip out, I highly suggest it. There was a couple last minute battles put together in place of canceled main events originally on the flyer, and they definitely made up for the event starting to look like it might not live up to the hype. We teamed up with SiRySS for this one of a kind youtube contest, open to rappers, singers, and dancers. We present the C-Walk/Rap Contest, where you can either rap/sing, or dance over the provided track done by SiRySS himself. There will be one winner for the rap/sing portion, and one winner for the dance portion also. On Dec 11th, 2010, this coming Saturday, Assault & Battling, ran by @Absyrd, is throwing their 4th event in Los Angeles, aptly named “LA RIOT 4” at Club Trip (2101 Lincoln Blvd Santa Monica , CA). Assault & Battling is a smaller battle league for up and coming battlers, and another avenue for seasoned battlers to showcase their skills. This event will also serve as a chance for emcee’s to earn their spot to battle at Grind Time Now‘s Battle of LA 4, taking place in February 2011. The last AnB event was a great time, so if you’re in the area, be sure to come out and have some drinks (21+ to get in), and watch some battles!
